
Bombastic Brewing wins 1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze during North American Beer Awards

HAYDEN, IDAHO — Bombastic Brewing brought home five medals on Friday during the 2025 International Beer and Cider Awards in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
The craft brewery won gold for Big Dumb Beer in the imperial stout category. Bombastic won silver medals with its Waddle Breakfast Stout in the coffee stout category, Attempted Murder Vanilla Cinnamon Stout in the herbed spiced beers category and Gifting Marshmallow & Coconut Imperial Stout in the tropical fruit beers category. This is Bombastic’s second time taking silver for Attempted Murder Vanilla Cinnamon Stout.
Bringing home the bronze this year was Bombastic’s Velvet Hammer in the barrel-aged strong stout category.
Bombastic Brewing was among 10 Idaho breweries to participate in this year’s competition, which included breweries from across the country. The event is sanctioned by the North American Brewers Association.
Bombastic Brewing has consistently medaled during the annual event. In 2024, the craft brewery won gold for Chatter Mexican Lager, silver for Shiver Coffee Stout with Thomas Hammer Coffee and bronze for Bombastic’s Murder Mexican Chocolate Imperial Stout and Psychopomp Maple Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee Breakfast Imperial Stout.
The 2024 awards marked Murder’s third bronze award in the competition. Bombastic’s Attempted Murder Vanilla Cinnamon Stout took home the silver medal during the 2021 North American Beer Awards. Bombastic’s 5th Anniversary Barrel Aged Imperial Stout was awarded a gold medal in 2022 by the North American Beer Association in the barrel-aged stouts category.
Bombastic Brewing’s craft beers are distributed in six states throughout the West — Idaho, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Washington and Oregon.
